Keitaro, friend of Taro
Keitaro is Team West's last host on the friendship journey around the world. He is from Kurashiki and owns a company which sells smartphone accessories. Team West was sent to Keitaro by his good friend Taro from Hawaii. What Keitaro values the most about his friend is his warm hearted personality.
What are you proud of?
I always try to clear my goals, my effort.
What would you change in your country if you were able to?
I have a son and he is using a wheelchair. When we visit places like the United States I don't need to think about if we can go to a certain restaurant or a certain supermarket. Everything is accessible. But in Japan unfortunately it is very difficult to go anywhere. I want the government to make Japan a good place for disabled people.
What do you expect from a friend?
I don't expect anything from friends. I have many things to do for my friends but I don't expect anything.
How important are friends to you?
Very important! They are part of my life. I had many turning points in my life. My friends always taught me how I do and gave me good advices.
Is it easy to become friends in your country?
Yeah, if you want it's easy.
