I am part of Yuujou because...
This is my Act II. I'm in that part of my autobiography when I turn my life around completely. The part when I take on every opportunity and throw caution to the wind. When I finally say YES to life in the fullest and most open of ways.
Travel offers us the opportunity to expand and create new pathways in our brains and in our spirits. To do it in exchange for participating in a social experiment that I can 100% get behind would be such a treat.
It means living my values in the context of travel and friendship. I believe there is room for a person like me among the adventurers selected because I want to authentically engage with people from all over. I've had my fair share of experiences, but I want more international connections. I want to learn more about all of humankind. I want to share stories and get an even better grasp of how to navigate the world.
I am a storyteller and would love to capture the experience of a Yuujou journey.
Listen. Give me the benefit of the doubt, but never hesitate to call me out on something that I've done that has caused them confusion or pain.
I get in my own way with silly negative self talk, but I'm actively working on it.
Unreasonable? And that would be based on whose judgment? Who is making the call? If I had to pick one thing, I'd say tailoring my clothes to fit me.
