I am part of Yuujou because...

I have actually been trying to plan a by-land/by-water trip from Asia to Europe and taking my time to do this over the course of 6 months to a year so that I can soak up my surroundings. This trip fits that vision perfectly but with a shorter timeframe and an interesting challenge of only staying with friends along the way making this a potentially highly-enriching experience.

From the moment I decided to stay in Asia, I have had to rely on the kindness of strangers and the support of my friends and family back home in order to get to the point of stability I have now. As such, I feel this adventure would allow me to utilize the social skills I have developed during my transition and adaptation in a new country as well as complete another bucket list adventure. Whether I get picked for this journey or not, I still intend to go about it on my own but I feel it would be more meaningful and rewarding to share this experience with other adventurers 💕
