I am part of Yuujou because...

I want to go on the Yuujou journey because it’ll help me figure out what I want to do with my life. I’m at the tender age of 18 and fresh out of high school yearning for independence. This journey will give me clarity and a sense of direction that leads to my purpose in life, which is something that most of us, if not all of us, struggle with in our daily lives. Not only will this journey help me realize the value of friendship, but it’ll expose me to different cultures, languages and a different way of life. It’ll allow me to expand my knowledge thus becoming more worldly, a global citizen. Another bonus is that I’ll be equipped with a lifetime of stories to tell. I believe that this journey will enable me to learn more about myself and capabilities, and teach me to not be afraid and to just go for it. After feeling trapped for so long, I think it’s time to start afresh a try something new, be uncomfortable and grow.
