I am part of Yuujou because...

I think this journey is an incredibly interesting social study on humanity and friendships in the 21st century. I am applying on behalf of my boyfriend and I who have been traveling together for the last two years. Over the course of our travels we decided to share our journey on Instagram and have developed a decent following of individuals who share our love for travel and love to see what we are up to on a daily basis. The power of social media in this day and age is undeniable, but most of these individuals who have taken an interest in our travels are strangers to us. Is it possible to have a REAL social network with REAL people that will allow you to travel half way across the world? I don't know, but we would love to be a part of the team that tries to investigate this social phenomena.
